From vast oil and gas fields to gold mining operations and geohazard detection, STRYDE is the leading provider of cost-effective, high-definition land-based subsurface imaging - helping the world unlock the Earth’s resources responsibly and efficiently.
As energy demand rises globally and nations seek to achieve clean energy independence, understanding the subsurface has never been so critical for energy and mineral production.
The challenge? Energy and mining developers urgently require rapid access to high-resolution subsurface data — yet traditional technologies are slow, costly, and often out of reach for future-focused industries.
STRYDE is a global leader in advanced subsurface imaging, revolutionizing seismic data acquisition on land through unmatched resolution and efficiency.
As the world’s leading manufacturer of miniature seismic data receivers (nodes), STRYDE empowers companies to explore the subsurface faster, more cost-effectively, and in more detail than ever before, unlocking richer geological insights for faster and better decision making.
Offering affordable subsurface imaging across a vast array of industries, including oil and gas, mining, CCUS, research, civil engineering and geothermal sectors, with deployments in over 60 countries worldwide, STRYDE is playing a critical role in developing new energy projects and accelerating the world’s transition to cleaner, smarter energy and mineral resources and subsurface risk mitigation.
Since STRYDE’s launch in 2020, over one million nodes have been delivered worldwide, establishing STRYDE as the fastest-growing, market-leading provider of onshore seismic technology. Some highlights include:
From global energy giants to the world’s top academic institutions, STRYDE is in high demand, firmly positioned as a key enabler of high-resolution subsurface imaging for both traditional sectors like oil and gas and emerging industries, including mining, hydrogen, geothermal, and CCUS.
STRYDE’s technology has enabled some of the world’s most ground-breaking seismic projects - including the largest onshore nodal seismic survey ever conducted on land, the biggest nodal seismic survey for geothermal exploration, the largest onshore nodal CCUS exploration project, and the densest seismic dataset ever acquired onshore.
As the Earth's resources are becoming harder to find, STRYDE's seismic systems enable precise identification of untapped mineral deposits at depth, buried geothermal hotspots, and residual hydrocarbon reserves, driving sustainable and continued growth in energy exploration and scientific research.
Our ability to enable high-density, large-scale seismic surveys on land drives a strong pipeline of high-value contracts, delivering large node channel counts alongside revenue-generating services (such as seismic data processing), software, and hardware, generating tens of millions of dollars (USD) in annual revenue.
Eskil Jersing
Exploration and Appraisal Director, CCED"CCED are currently acquiring the world’s largest 3D node survey over our blocks 3 & 4 (29, 219 sqkm), onshore Oman. This nodal technology approach (c.165,000 channels) provides multiple benefits to CCED, by cutting down on data acquisition costs, minimizing HSE footprints in the field (less manual handling, reducing vehicle count from c.160 to c.40, reduced field crew size 600 to c.220 etc.), and expanded land access in our sabkha-dune environment, all to acquire high quality, operationally efficient (high density, point receiver geometries providing increased spatial sampling density, with no compromise to data quality) outcomes."

"For our clients Sinergy and BEG (Aproz, CH), we successfully planned and acquired an optimized 3D survey for high-density seismic acquisition in the beautiful Swiss Alps using the STRYDE nodal system in under three weeks, encompassing layout, acquisition, pickup and raw data delivery!
Unlike traditional orthogonal 3D methods, which use regular grid patterns for receivers and sources, our optimized 3D acquisition strategy leverages existing infrastructures and roads from the survey planning stage. This novel approach integrates the urban environment, building the survey around it.
The benefits? Smoother, faster, and more cost-effective operations, while ensuring excellent data quality and coverage"
Martin Blouin
Lead Geoscientist at Géostack"For non-driveable areas, the addition of hundreds of STRYDE autonomous accelerometers in fall 2024 has opened up new possibilities:
• High measurement density with long offsets
• Lighter and faster deployment
• Reduced environmental footprint
• Continuous recording promoting the use of passive seismic technology
• Flat spectrum and good response down to 1 Hz, ensuring exceptional data quality even at low frequencies
Their reduced weight also makes them easier to transport to remote areas. By combining these new acquisition approaches with accelerated data processing via automated routines, and interpretations consolidated by combined seismic.
Today, we are better equipped than ever to offer high-quality seismic services, while controlling costs and deadlines."
Yevgeniy Solodkyi
Head of Exploration Department at DTEK Oil&Gas"Thanks to STRYDE's in-field processing solution, STRYDE Lens™, we were amazed to receive fully processed and migrated seismic volumes within just two weeks of concluding our seismic survey in Ukraine.
This was followed by a refined product two weeks later based on analyst's and interpreter's feedback. Surprisingly, the quality of the Lens™ image rivalled that of the conventional processed image that was concurrently being progressed and took four months to deliver.
During a critical phase of our drilling program, this rapid delivery was instrumental. The detailed structural insights provided by the STRYDE Lens™ image enabled us to swiftly pinpoint optimal drilling locations and move the drilling equipment to the relevant location much earlier than expected.
STRYDE’s ability to deliver high-quality subsurface images in record time is unparalleled, ensuring we can make actionable decisions quickly and effectively and we look forward to deploying STRYDE Lens™ on our next project.”
Sandfire
Kalahari Copper Belt Exploration, Botswana"Seismic data that was acquired during Q1 FY25 was processed, interpreted, and integrated into our 3D basin model during the period. This data has greatly increased our knowledge of the basin architecture and has identified several near surface target areas, which are expected to be drilled during H2 FY25."
Javier Nuñez Carbajal
Managing Director at SSE"For this project, our customer required high-trace density seismic data across 85 km² of challenging terrain, including tropical rainforests, lakes, and wetlands, making STRYDE’s agile nodes a clear choice.
“Having used other nodal equipment for previous surveys, we are impressed with how STRYDE’s nodes are enabling denser and faster data collection, at the same cost as traditional sparser surveys. In a competitive market where the speed and accuracy of acquisition are critical to the success of exploration projects, this advancement is invaluable."
Brendon Mitchell
Managing Director, Oceania Geo"Thanks to STRYDE Nodes™, we were able to significantly reduce the project timeline and costs, allowing our client to quadruple the size of their survey.
The survey was completed quickly with a small crew and with minimal environmental disturbance. The high-quality data we acquired perfectly met our client's needs, enabling them to de-risk their coal developments and we couldn't be happier with the results!"

STRYDE’s small, lightweight, and cost-effective receiver technology drives significant reductions in both CAPEX and OPEX across receiver equipment and survey operations. Shown here is a STRYDE node alongside a competitor’s node for comparison.
STRYDE enables users to achieve significantly higher trace density within the same budget, delivering a step-change in seismic image quality and empowering better decision-making - a critical advantage for accelerating the energy transition
With equipment light enough to be hand-carried, the need for environmentally damaging line clearing is eliminated. Fewer transport vehicles are required, significantly reducing CO₂ emissions and minimizing land and community impact.
Shown here is a comparison between a STRYDE node and traditional cabled geophones, which are still widely used today. Even when compared to other nodal systems, STRYDE’s ultra-lightweight design allows for smaller crews, fewer vehicles, and minimal line clearing, significantly reducing HSE risk in the field.
"I believe there is a huge untapped potential in better understanding the subsurface for a wide range of industries, particularly on land. STRYDE allows companies to acquire the seismic data quality that they want, removing the need to compromise on cost, quality, and HSSE risk.
"We have already revolutionised the seismic industry, making it far safer, faster, and cost-effective... and we are still only just getting started!"
