Use case
In 2025, STRYDE’s cutting-edge technology has been successfully deployed in northern Croatia, supporting a major geothermal energy developer in acquiring high-quality subsurface data for sustainable resource development.
The Kotoriba-3D survey represents one of the largest 3D seismic operations completed in the region in recent years. Utilizing HEMI-50 vibrators alongside STRYDE’s lightweight, wireless nodal system, the project delivered an exceptional and cost-effective 3D seismic image reaching the deep geothermal reservoir.
Executed by a dedicated field crew of 24 geophysicists and support professionals from Geomega, the operation showcased outstanding precision, efficiency, and compliance with all regulatory standards. The team’s expertise and commitment to safety and quality enabled the project to be completed one day ahead of schedule - a testament to the operational reliability and agility of STRYDE’s nodal solution.
Beyond technical success, this project marks a meaningful step in advancing geothermal exploration in the region, providing critical insights into the subsurface to accelerate the transition toward sustainable energy development.
nodes can be harvested in 24 hours
Just one recording operator required
Geomega deployed their STRYDE Nimble Acquisition System — a cost-effective, lightweight, and highly portable solution configured with 2,000 nodes, alongside the required hardware for efficient node charging and seamless data harvesting.
Engineered for rapid acquisition of high-resolution seismic data, the STRYDE Nimble System enables exceptional operational flexibility, supporting deployments of up to 30,000 nodes and achieving rotation rates of up to 3,240 nodes per day with a single recording operator.
This scalability and efficiency make it an ideal solution for geothermal and other near-surface exploration projects where cost, speed, and data quality are critical.
