Africa Geophysical Services LLC (AGS) has invested in two new STRYDE Nimble Seismic Systems, further strengthening its operational capabilities and supporting its expansion across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
Accelerating exploration across continents
In the coming weeks, the Nimble Systems will be deployed on exploration projects in Tanzania, where they will help AGS deliver high-quality, cost-effective seismic data for regional exploration campaigns.
The new systems will play a central role in AGS’s ongoing mission to provide clients with fast, reliable, and affordable land seismic acquisition solutions, underpinned by STRYDE’s lightweight, scalable, and field-proven nodal technology.
Building on record-breaking success in Oman
This latest investment follows AGS’s record-setting achievement in Oman, where the company completed the world’s largest nodal seismic survey using 166,000 STRYDE nodes.
That project was delivered using STRYDE’s containerised and semi-automated seismic acquisition system, which significantly reduced field logistics and operational costs while maintaining exceptional data quality.
