STRYDE’s compact and agile seismic data acquisition system has been selected by GOA MINING Prof. Dr. G. Gülsev Aksoy, Prof. Dr. C. Okay Aksoy, and HSB Energy Consulting to support a series of upcoming mineral exploration projects across Turkey.
The investment marks a significant step forward in the adoption of advanced nodal seismic technology for geotechnical and mineral resource development, helping operators achieve higher data quality, faster turnaround times, and more informed geological decision-making.
First deployment planned for August 2025
The first deployment of STRYDE’s technology is scheduled for August 2025, where the system will be used to:
-
Detect faults and weak zones — crucial for identifying structural risks and designing safer, more efficient production plans.
-
Support geological modelling — improving lithological differentiation and enabling clearer imaging of formation boundaries.
-
Enhance ore targeting and geotechnical drilling — using seismic reflection and refraction methods to guide more accurate and cost-effective drilling operations.
By integrating seismic methods into early-stage exploration workflows, the teams aim to reduce uncertainty and optimise drilling programmes in complex geological environments.
Training and technical preparation in Dubai
Prior to deployment, teams from GOA MINING and HSB Energy completed hands-on training at STRYDE’s Dubai facility, gaining in-depth experience in system setup and survey design.
The training covered:
-
Designing receiver and source geometry for optimal subsurface coverage
-
Maximising surface wave and reflection efficiency
-
Transferring theoretical coordinates to navigation systems for 2D acquisition
-
Field deployment using STRYDE’s dedicated deployment apparatus
Following this programme, both teams are now fully equipped to deploy and operate STRYDE’s technology in the field.

Empowering safer and more efficient exploration in Turkey
With this investment, GOA MINING and HSB Energy join a select group of forward-looking companies in Turkey leveraging advanced seismic data acquisition systems to support mineral exploration and development.
Their goal is to use STRYDE’s lightweight, scalable nodal system to improve subsurface characterisation, enhance safety, and increase operational efficiency. Looking ahead, both organisations plan to expand their seismic acquisition capabilities to support future geothermal and hydrocarbon exploration projects across the region.
A shared vision for smarter exploration
This collaboration highlights the growing importance of high-density seismic acquisition in the mining and energy sectors and reinforces STRYDE’s position as a global leader in portable, cost-effective seismic solutions that empower faster, safer, and more sustainable exploration.
👏 STRYDE congratulates the GOA MINING and HSB Energy teams on this milestone and looks forward to following their journey as they bring advanced seismic technology to Turkey’s exploration landscape.
