To stay competitive, you need to develop the technical skills and operational understanding required for the next generation of seismic projects.
In light of this, we are proud to support the EAGE Masterclass: Land Seismic Acquisition 2026, taking place at Université de Pau, France, in partnership with realtimeseismic.
This masterclass is designed to help geophysicists and field professionals build practical expertise in modern seismic acquisition and imaging - bringing together theory, acquisition, and processing into one integrated learning experience.
Reflecting today’s operational realities, the hands-on acquisition exercises will utilise STRYDE’s nodal seismic technology alongside GTGI’s vibroseis systems, giving participants the opportunity to work with the tools and workflows used on modern high-density land seismic projects.
Our Chief Geophysicist, Amine Ourabah, will also lead dedicated sessions on seismic data processing and acquisition.
Geothermal energy is gaining renewed global attention as countries accelerate the transition to low-carbon, secure, and scalable energy solutions. Yet significant challenges remain around policy, financing, data availability, and public awareness.
Land seismic acquisition in Europe has evolved rapidly in recent years, driven by tighter budgets, new energy priorities, and growing expectations around data quality and efficiency.
The conversation covers Yassine's journey from field work to AI, the transition to AI and data science, early days in seismic and technology, automation and machine learning in seismic work, global engineering experience and cultural exposure, work at STRYDE and seismic systems, AI and ML in system testing and quality assurance, geo AI and satellite data for scouting, challenges and advantages of AI in the energy sector, and AI's role in society and policy context.
